Tournament Format
The following are planned divisions:
- Open A division- for experienced players
o A Division notes:
§ Deck referee: Brian Livingston

Keep
the play Clean and FUN

games will play in the RED pool
§ Classic – sloped UWH pool
o 6 Teams: -
- Open B division- focus on developing 'new' UWH players
o B Division notes:
§ 1/3 of your “B Division team are *new* players
· *new* players have less than five (5) years UWH experience
§ No “rough stuff”
§ Must be fun, clean play
§ Referee will call “game” penalty on 1st offence for any rough or unsportsmanlike play
§ Play fair, play clean, and have fun.

- Jr teams will participate in round-robin play… Jr. Championship to be played on Sunday AM (8-11 am)

Teams can be composed of up to twelve players (Co-ed).
All registered players may dress and play
for each game. Final team rosters were to be submitted by Monday March
15. (only registered players will receive banquet ticket (food
ticket). A limited # of banquet tickets may be available.

Games must start
on time!
All players must wear light or
dark head gear as appropriate and mouth guards. (...mouth-guards are available & for sale at: "Sport Shop” (in
ice-hockey arena) COST: est. $3.00 each. Head gear must have
appropriate ear covering on both ears. Sticks must be painted black and white
(no tape). Single lens masks should
not be used. Subbing will be allowed from designated
area ONLY (SIDE side-SUBBING). Each
team must provide two refs for the following game. Tournament rules will refer
to current CMAS rules. All “deck referee” calls will be final.
Play fair, play clean and have fun. First 2 games start @ 8:10 sharp. Two
(2) playing surfaces: flat bottom pool, fast tiles, 5-6 ft. deep.

CAUTION: Referees are directed to enforce
these rules. You may be ejected from the game!

Banquet -
- Graduate Student
Lounge, 5th level, University Center.
- Bar opens @ 6pm
– Dinner (buffet) starts at 7:00.
- The evening will include dinner (buffet), awards, and a cash bar. Banquet tickets will be provided for registered team members (and registered guests). A limited number of extra tickets is available at $15. Please request EXTRA tickets with your entry form.

- To get to the pool from the airport, follow
Highway 401 west toward London, Ontario. Take the Brock Road,
exit North to Guelph (10 minutes). Turn
right on South Ring Road (one set of lights past Stone Road) at the
University of Guelph, and continue on until East Ring Road where you will
be making a left. Look for parking near the twin-pad hockey arena.
The pool will be inside the WG Mitchell Athletics Center (directly across
from the arena).
